If you’re craving a change at home this spring a complete overhaul may not be necessary. Actually, let’s get real—a complete overhaul in a room like the kitchen may not even be possible. So what can you do? Focus on the details! Like Charles Eames said “the details are not the details. They make the design”– so make small changes to give your kitchen decor a much needed boost.  We’ve come up with a few simple ways to upgrade your kitchen but if you have any other ideas feel free to share them with us. Happy decorating!

Put your dishes on display

Take the doors off of your cabinets and let your dishes breathe. Putting your dishes and accessories on display is a great way to spice up your decor.

Switch up your hardware

Give cabinets a much needed face lift by purchasing new hardware. There are so many beautiful options out there: hand-stitched leather handles, brushed brass pulls, crystal knobs and modern geometric metallic handles can all make your kitchen shine.

Try a fresh coat of paint

Everyone  knows that a little bit of paint can drastically change a room so paint an accent wall, cabinets or even an island to add some new flavor to your kitchen.

Go faucet shopping

A shiny new faucet may be just the thing your kitchen needs! Switching the finish and style of your faucet can give the sink area a new look and feel.

Light it up

When you think of your decor ask yourself if your light fixture makes a statement. Big and bold lighting can add much needed style and character to a dull kitchen.
