For the men who are not bachelors, hopefully you get to have a man cave with a private study and a bar in the basement. Obviously, you don’t have to be a man to love the edgy and pared down aesthetic of this style–many masculine design elements definitely have a universal appeal. Sleek metallic finishes, bold colors (we’re loving charcoal gray and black right now), and heavy textiles like wool and leather, are great whether you’re designing an urban loft, modern bachelor pad, or a feminine space that needs a bit of contrast.
