Happy first day of spring! It’s officially the season of new beginnings so you know what that means–it’s time to give your home a little bit of TLC. Think revamp, reorganize and refresh! Deep cleaning and decluttering your bathroom may not be the easiest task but with some really good tunes, a small glass of  wine and a few tips, you will be done in no time. You might even have some fun along the way. Start with a good old purge: get rid of anything that you don’t need and remove items that don’t belong in the bathroom. Now that you are down to the bare essentials it’s time to get organized. Check out the tips below for some ideas that will help keep your bathroom organized and clutter free throughout the year.

Divide and Conquer

People always say don’t worry about the little things but when it comes to organizing your bathroom that’s pretty much all you need to worry about. Bins or vanities with drawer dividers and inserts can help keep small everyday items in order. Think about how much time you’ll save in the morning when you don’t have go digging through a bunch of rubble in the drawers or cabinets.

Find your niche

Put all of your items in a spot that is easily accessible. A niche or ledge above the tub is the perfect place to display loofahs, body washes and bath salts. Store some of these items in decorative containers to give your bath a spa feel.

Let it Float

Floating shelves are probably the most flexible and decorative storage option—especially in small bathrooms. So after you purge, think about adding some storage above the toilet for towels, extra toiletries, your favorite accessories or line them with baskets that can hold anything that you need.
