This year’s Oscars was amazing: Ellen Degeneres kept us laughing and “broke” twitter by posting the most popular selfie of all time, the academy got it completely right, and the stars came out dressed to impress! Well, most of them–there were a few people who definitely needed to reevaluate their fashion choices but we’ll be nice and not talk about them. Some of Hollywood’s leading ladies were adorned in pretty pastels and neutrals that reminded us of one of our favorite color combos–blush and black. Blush is a pale pink hue that we just can’t get enough of because it gives off just a hint of color yet functions as a neutral. It’s quite a nice alternative to flat out pink if you’re a fan of girly glam. Blush and black along with other neutrals, can make a lovely color palette for a home. When paired with black and smoky greys, blush interiors can have a sleek, and modern look. Rooms with cool greys, bright whites and blush accents have more of a feminine feel.
